Simple delicious food with great attentive service. I stopped in alone and had a pancake craving (too much for 1-or 2!!) I got to sit in the front window and enjoy my day.

Saturday morning. Packed to the brim, a line to get a table but it went by fast. The small orange juice is yummy but is truly quite small. Best pancakes my boyfriend and I ever had. Perfect. They use steak fries which is great. The space is intimate and everyone is deep in conversation. No complaints.

Ahhhh... it just feels like home. Stopped in with a friend for rice pudding and apple pie (see below). HEAVEN! Good coffee. Good service with a classic diner interior (and don't forget that classic neon sign). I need to expound on the apple pie a moment. No shade to the rice pudding (some of the best in the city), but that apple pie... it's... well, it's close to perfect. I don't like sweet and this pie is not too sweet. It's not not sweet, it's just kind of the perfect level of sweet. I'm trying to figure out if I'm going to get it again, as the memory of that pie is almost as good as a forkful.

Wanted some breakfast while in town and found Waverly on Yelp. Walk in and the servers, who were very nice, greet you and take you to your table. The menu is huge and has so many options so even the pickiest eater will find something. Went with the French toast deluxe, panini and 2 egg breakfast plate. Food was out quick and everything is reasonably priced.

Nice New York diner with a great old school atmosphere. Huge selection of food, rapidly and freshly prepared and efficient and professional service. Not gourmet, it will fill you up ready for the day!

We always try to find a good diner for any trip we take. We stumbled upon this place after a long stroll after we got our early morning coffee and thought - now this is a diner! Right when you walk in, you know this place is packed with locals and regulars. Everyone knows each other and the staff is extremely friendly. We ordered the corned beef and hash along with some sweet waffles. Both were absolutely AMAZING! We ate well and recipes before our next long walk ahead of us. Great breakfast spot!

I have had the delight of coming to this place since the 1980s and still see the same familiar faces working here. The Yiannis' for example. （）a little remodel several years back. But I'm a retro kind of girl and I am most definitely love my nostalgic diner. So my latest visit I had a spinach omelette sandwich and it was so exceedingly delicious and healthy and reasonably priced. I have had breakfast here a lot but I have stopped by for some lunches & it's hard to pass up their famous ever so delectable cinnamon rice pudding! The menu might be several pages long but they still have breakfast and there are reasonably priced options. Thank goodness !! I love the retro vibes this place and Will be back.
